IPhone users are finally getting a new update from Gmail - Forbes

So far, iPhone and iPad users have had access to a cool new feature when they open the Gmail app. This is part of Google's ongoing process of updating its apps. This process sometimes makes its iPhone apps more beautiful and efficient than Android apps. Or at least it will reach them if they are left behind.

Google Apps differ slightly across multiple platforms. Of course, Gmail on a Chromebook is different from Gmail on a Pixel phone. The different versions also have different properties.

The Gmail app is an important part of almost all Android phones, but it's different on the iPhone. You need to download it first or choose to use the built-in messaging application.

Apple's mail app is pretty good: easy to use, with a good search engine, and an elegant design. You can easily configure it to work with your Gmail account so you don't have to go anywhere else.

Huawei also has a powerful messaging app that users of the new Mate 30 Pro can use when Google's mobile services are not available on the new phone.

However, if you like the look of Gmail on other platforms, you probably also want the Gmail app on your iPhone and iPad.

And over the course of the applications, it's very powerful, with interesting extras like smart replies and, my favorite, the ability to send a message if you just send it. Though you should be quick with that, keep that in mind. Still, it saved me many times.

So far, the iPhone version of Gmail with the Android app is finally online in a special way: you can add attachments from another source, the Apple Files app.

Files have been added to iPhone and iPad to make it easier to find documents, videos, and photos on your device. This file management feature was available on other platforms, but Apple only provided this element two years ago.

Now when you write an email in the Gmail app, all you have to do is add something from another part of your device by clicking the Attach button (you know, which looks like a paper clip). Then select what you are looking for in the application files

This means there is another option available outside of Photos and Google Drive. The function is activated automatically and starts with the implementation today. However, in all Gmail applications, this can take until the end of the month.

This is a subtle update that by default is only shown as an additional location to choose from.

It is much more practical and mimics the simplicity with which Android users of the application can easily select things on their phone. Since Files is also integrated into cloud services, it is much easier to easily find the attachment you want.
